Passenger, Cargo Traffic At Austin-Bergstrom November 2022
AUSTIN, TEXAS – Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) passenger traffic growth for November 2022 was up 16.01% compared to November 2021 with 1,845,593 passengers flying during the month.

Passenger Activity: Total passenger traffic for November 2022 was 1,845,593, up 16.01% compared to November 2021. November 2022 enplanements totaled 925,533, up 16.30%. Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 726,512, up 30.9%; American Airlines passengers totaled 449,311, up 6.6%; Delta Air Lines passengers totaled 214,015, up 8.8%; United Airlines passengers totaled 199,001, up 4.1%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 83,455, up 19.5%; Spirit Airlines passengers totaled 56,190, up 15.1%; Allegiant Air passengers totaled 33,652, up 7.4%; JetBlue Airways passengers totaled 29,627, down 25.8%; British Airways passengers totaled 14,843, up 184.2%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 8,934, down 48.4%; Hawaiian Airlines passengers totaled 5,966, up 68.4%; KLM Royal Dutch Airlines passengers totaled 4,840; Lufthansa passengers totaled 5,322; Aeromexico passengers totaled 4,989, up 0.5%; Virgin Atlantic passengers totaled 3,393; Air Canada passengers totaled 3,918, up 31.3% and Sun Country Airlines passengers totaled 1,625, up 15.2%;
November 2022 air cargo totaled 25,047,999 lbs., up 4.58% compared to November 2021. International air cargo totaled 1,892,850 lbs., up 149.59%. Air Transport International carried 7,835,838 lbs., up 8.4%; Federal Express carried 7,055,425 lbs., down 0.7%; United Parcel Services carried 3,330,044 lbs., up 7.8%; and Atlas Air carried 1,695,057 lbs., up 140.4%.
Air Services transferred 262,097 lbs. of mail, down 69.35%; and 3,553,343 lbs. of belly freight, up 56.37%.
Aircraft Operations: General Aviation operations totaled 4,071, down 11.81%. Combined operations (including commercial and military) totaled 22,407, up 2.04%.

Passenger Activity: Total passenger traffic for January – November 2022 was 19,371,688, up 61.77%, compared to January – November 2021. January – November 2022 enplanements totaled 9,691,276, up 61.70%. Southwest Airlines passengers totaled 7,449,515, up 81.6%; American Airlines passengers totaled 5,000,828, up 78.5%; Delta Air Lines passengers totaled 2,246,531, up 36.6%; United Airlines passengers totaled 1,999,654, up 40.1%; Alaska Airlines passengers totaled 860,544, up 39.8%; Spirit Airlines passengers totaled 540,421, up 6.2%; Allegiant Air passengers totaled 386,026, up 94.3%; JetBlue Airways passengers totaled 312,681, down 19.5%; British Airways passengers totaled 134,149, up 1,453.7%; Frontier Airlines passengers totaled 116,792, down 40.2%; Air Canada passengers totaled 65,034, up 996.9%; Hawaiian Airlines passengers totaled 63,233, up 96.2%; Aeromexico passengers totaled 54,890, up 124.2%; KLM Royal Dutch Airlines passengers totaled 47,136; Lufthansa passengers totaled 42,293; Virgin Atlantic passengers totaled 29,545; Sun Country Airlines passengers totaled 20,192, up 11.2%; Qatar Airways passengers totaled 575; VivaAerobus passengers totaled 491; Omni Air International passengers totaled 471; Swift Air passengers totaled 301, down 84.6%; Qantas Airways passengers totaled 233; and Global Crossing Airlines passengers totaled 153, down 83.6%.
January – November 2022 air cargo totaled 285,374,104 lbs., up 33.68% compared to January – November 2021. International air cargo totaled 16,399,260 lbs., up 294.07%. Air Transport International carried 82,147,624 lbs., up 331.4 %; Federal Express carried 78,297,380 lbs., down 6.8%; United Parcel Services carried 35,598,811 lbs., up 13.1%; Atlas Air carried 31,465,422 lbs., up 691.7%; and Amerijet International Airlines carried 10,122,061 lbs., down 36.3%.
Air Services transferred 6,086,768 lbs. of mail, down 19.68%; and 31,075,746 lbs. of belly freight, up 163.33%.
Aircraft Operations: General Aviation operations totaled 47,386 for January – November 2022, up 10.61%. Combined operations (including commercial and military) totaled 247,817, up 35.88%.
