NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
November 18, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-1029
On November 14, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: She was driving to
Texas and the gentleman with
her was on the phone talking about killing someone. She told him to get off the phone
because she did not want any part of that. The person told her to take him back to Austin
and she did. When they got back to her house, she asked for her phone and the person then
called the police and told them she was threatening him at gunpoint. The police came to
her house thinking she had a gun. While she and her kids were outside talking to the female
officer the person stole her phone and her wallet. The officers did not do their job.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
