NOTICE OF FORMAL COMPLAINT
ICMS #: 2021-0343
June 1, 2021
Complaint: The Office of Police Oversight received an online complaint alleging the following:
"There were multiple incidences that happened this night I was not supposed to be arrested
according to what
said(sp) I was taken to the hospital after having my
thumb broken by a gang of white boy white supremacists at a white boy proud boy bar
after they were trying to kill my boyfriend by choking him on his throat and
kneeling on him like he was
They all laughed at me when I was trying to
save him After that they took me to the hospital and he continued to abuse me and twist
my arm And kept turning their body cam on and off I swear that they poisoned my water
that I asked for that I had at the hospital they put something in it that made my stomach SO
sick. I had to use the bathroom and they told me I couldn't since I had just used it and there
there's no way I had to before then. I also had my son that was in my hotel room just two
blocks away from the incident and they knew this and they didn't care and they all made a
joke of it and call me an irresponsible mother which I am not I was trying to get home to
my son and I was told I wasn't being arrested just transported to the hospital because the
guys that DIDNT get arrested broke my thumb.
This is cruelty and
racism on the apd part and also neglect of the child that was left in the hotel that I was two
blocks away from! This makes no sense I would've had a broken hand had I punched the
guy like the affidavit says which I didn't do I was trying to defend my bf, also the police
officers completely molested me no female officer present and did SO aggressively several
times. This was not only traumatic but in distaste of the apd unit
I want to add to my report that I was not given my Miranda rights because he said I did not
deserve them because I assaulted somebody which I did not
I almost forgot the fact that APD told me that it was irrelevant if I get Covid from the
hospital because it was a hospital even though the hospital staff told me and the police
officer at the time that I should wear a mask because it is Covid and there is a pandemic
I'm sure they were not wearing their body cam at that time.
They did not have me in a mask and told me that they didn't care if I got Covid because it
was an ER facility and then the hospital staff requested that I did wear a mask while
transporting through the unit per protocol and the officer said he did not care
And then later molested me in front of the body cam."
