NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
February 11, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0094
On February 8, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: The complainant and his mother were pulled over following an incident
at their church. Officer
, badge
searched him for weapons. The complainant has been
in corrections for 3 years and knows the difference between a pat down and a search. The officer
grabbed his private parts twice, right in front of his mom. She saw the whole thing. The officer
asked for his ID and afterward came back with a smirk on her face and asked if he'd been in an
Uber last night. The complainant was confused as to what that has to do with right now. She said,
"I just had to ask." That made no sense. He wasn't in an Uber the night before.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine
if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal
Civil Service Rules.
