NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
February 25, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0116
On February 22, 2022 the OPO received an online complaint.
The complainant alleges: I was turning in the left lane off of
to head north bound
on
.
This area is often congested as many people are filing in on the onramp.
There is mimimal distance to maintain a "safe" distance but I tried my best. There was a white
Hyundai SUV on the left side of the ramp NOT MOVING with his blinker on in a full stopped
position waiting until it was safe to get onto the onramp. A black Dodge Charger officer BADGE
#
slammed on his breaks abruptly SO much SO that my automatic ABS engaged and sent my
stuff flying forward this was not a touch of the breaks this was a horrible miscalculation of how
close he came to endangering me and my life. After the incident happened I quickly changed lanes
as the cars started to speed up to get in front of him to exit off of
. I did not trust this
man in front of me anymore I want to get in front of him to minimize any further incidents. He
quickly turns on his lights in an UNMARKED POLICE CAR. He pulled me over on
because of my unsafe driving to get to my exit however, he had committed the same crime
just moments ago when he slammed on his breaks to an unanticipated full stop in the middle of
rolling traffic into an onramp. Was is actually defensive driving on his end? Absolutely not.
