NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
March 11, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0170
On March 9, 2022 the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: The complainant believes his ex-boyfriend has been stalking him. He
has been making reports to APD for almost two years. APD homicide told him he needs to hire a
private investigator because stalking is hard to prove. The complainant stated that APD needs to
investigate his case to see what is going on because the incidents have escalated. When he arrived
home, his ceiling fan was hanging down and he got electrical injuries to the point that he was
bleeding from his nose and had to go to the hospital. The complainant alleges that he went to the
DA's office but was told APD has to refer the case to them. Detective
was assigned
to his case in
and he has submitted a ton of evidence to him with no response.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine
if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal
Civil Service Rules.
