The complainant alleges: Police car license plate , ran a red traffic light and almost hit his car. The APD vehicle sped past him with no sirens or flashing lights. After the complainant honked at the officer, he turned on his flashing lights. The officer turned his flashing lights on and off as he went through a couple of other traffic lights. The complainant feels the officer was only flashing his lights to help him speed thru traffic. This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
