NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
April 1, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0232
On March 30, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: Officer
/badge #
arrested her on
for no reason. When
Officer
took her to jail, he pulled her wig off and thought it was hilarious. Officer
told
her every time he sees her, he is going to harass her. She is on probation and does not want to go
downtown anymore because she fears she will be arrested. Her judge advised her to make a
complaint against Officer
because what he is doing is not right. On
around
or
at the same location, Officer
watched her as she was talking to someone. She got hit
by a car while riding a scooter and was speaking to other officers when Officer
walked up
and told her she was going to have to talk to him or nothing was going to get done. She let the
other officer know she did not want to talk to him. The other officer told Officer
it was not
going to happen and asked him to move. Officer
stated he was not going anywhere because
he knew her. She responded that she did not know the officer. She does not feel safe and before
it goes too far, she is calling OPO before she gets her lawyer involved.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine
