NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
May 13, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0363
On May 9, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: He had to call an APD supervisor, he thinks
was the name,
because an APD officer came after him under the bridge in a black unmarked SUV. The
officer was trying to run into him and others. The officer got out of the vehicle and pushed
him and tried to arrest him for exercising his constitutional rights to bear witness and film.
The officer would not listen to his explanation that he was protected by the 4th amendment.
Police have tried to stop him and others from filming events that are important for the
public to know.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
