The complainant alleges: There was an accident on . The responding police officer was parked diagonally on the freeway which made it dangerous for approaching traffic. The complainant had to move suddenly to the right which could have put cars behind him in danger. The officer should have used a rubber pylon to alert approaching traffic. He is sure the officer had a reason for parking the way he did, and he is not trying to get the officer disciplined but a better protocol needs to be developed. This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
