The complainant alleges: The complainant is a manager at a hotel.

called 911. An officer came 6 hours later. The officer did not provide a report number and
did not attempt to contact the gun-wielding guest, who is still at the hotel at the time of the
complaint intake phone call

. The complainant did not have the officer's
name or badge number. The complainant called the incident a "possible active shooter
situation" in which the officer simply came for a short time, received information, and left
without pursuing or making an attempt to pursue the suspect.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
