The complainant alleges: The complainant was assaulted by her roommate. She told the officers that arrived that she was battered all down her left side, punched, and choked. The police did not arrest the roommate. They left saying he would stay in his room and also let the roommate's girlfriend, who is not on the lease, stay there as well. The complainant states that it was a hearsay situation on both sides and someone should have been asked to leave. She told police she had a previous report of her roommate putting hands on her and that didn"t seem to matter to them. This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
