NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
June 10, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0470
On June 6, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: I was a cadet in the 144th class from approximately
, through
While I was in the academy I had to arrive at
AM to
attend flag detail, sign in and be ready for class. I was never paid overtime for those 15
minutes every day. It was said to be "voluntary" but if I wasn't in formation and ready to
go or participated in the flag detail we would be "smoked" and disciplined. Our official
start/pay time was
AM. Who can I contact to make sure I get paid for that time? These
dates are approximate but this happened during my duration of being in the 144th class.
Thank you
Witness #1:
Name: The 144th Class
Additional information: The entire 144th class would be punished to if a person was late,
they were all witnesses. We were also "volunteered" assigned to come in early and stay
late for flag detail a minimum of 2 weeks which added at least another 30 minutes of having
to come in early 15 minutes. Every single day while doing this detail.
