NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
August 5, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0655
On August 3, 2022, the OPO received a phone complaint.
The complainant alleges: She was trying to document an incident with APD, and they
hung up in her face. She was kicked out of the
area for no justifiable
means, and she was told the police were going to be called, but they never called them. So,
she called the police to file a complaint because they had already paid to get in. The police
told her they could not do anything. She told the officer she wanted to file a complaint
because she was not doing anything wrong and in case it comes up again. The officer still
refused. She asked for his badge number and name, but the officer would not give her that
information.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
