NOTICE OF COMPLAINT
October 21, 2022
ICMS #: 2022-0942
On October 17, 2022, the OPO received an email complaint.
The complainant alleges:
a vagrant was trespassing on the property. A neighbor
notified us and called 911, we tried to get the person trespassing to leave, they threatened
us, and said they would come back. When we called the cops and the cops arrived, the cops
told us that we did not have the right to issue the trespassing even though I own my condo
and common areas that include the laundry room. Can you please let us know what we can
do about making sure our area is safe, there are children here on the property. We should
have every right to remove trespassers who are threatening.
This notice of complaint is a request for Internal Affairs to initiate an investigation to
determine if the employee conduct is within compliance of APD policy, Civil Service
Rules, and Municipal Civil Service Rules.
