Approve the waiver of certain fees and requirements, including the deadline requirements and the closure notice which allows affected individuals and neighborhood associations to object to the closure, under City Code Chapter 14-8 for the Juneteenth event sponsored by Travis County which is to be held on Friday, June 17 2011, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on West 10th Street between Guadalupe Street and San Antonio Street.
The motion to approve the waiver of certain fees and requirements was approved on consentAll consent items are acted on by one motion and one vote. on Council Member Morrison's motion, Council Member Spelman's second on a 4-0 vote. Mayor Pro Tem Martinez and Council Members Cole and Shade were off the dais.
