Location: 1600 block E. 7th Street (South alley)
The Austin Police Department Sex Crimes Unit is seeking information regarding an aggravated sexual assault that occurred on Monday November 9, 2020 at approximately 5a.m. The victim was walking in the street near the south alley of the 1600 block E. 7th Street when the suspect approached the victim on foot and physically attacked her. The suspect then sexually assaulted the victim before fleeing on foot.
The identity of the suspect is unknown at this time. He is described as:
- Possibly Hispanic/medium skin tone,
- Approximately 25-35 years of age,
- Estimated 5’6 to 5’10,
- Short black hair,
- Possibly with a beard or black surgical mask,
- Approximately 160-180 pounds (thin build with “pudgy” stomach)
- Last seen wearing jeans with visible gray boxer shorts, a black t-shirt, dark colored belt, and dark colored shoes.
