On Monday April 7, 2025, at approximately 7:29 p.m., Austin 9-1-1 received multiple calls reporting a shooting in the 300 block of Nueces Street. When Austin Police Department (APD) officers arrived, they found an unresponsive Black male on the ground with apparent gunshot wounds.
