UPDATE: The Travis County Medical Examiner (TCME) has positively identified the deceased body found at 4801 La Crosse Avenue (Lady Bird Johnson Flower Center) as Jon Stamm. The cause of death will be determined by TCME. At this time, there is no foul play suspected and this is not being investigated as a homicide. This is an active and ongoing death investigation, and there is no further information available for release at this time.

The Austin Police Department (APD) is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 58-year-old, Jon Stamm. Mr. Stamm was reported missing on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 5 p.m. He was last seen On Tuesday, June 11, at approximately 9:30 a.m., at his home located in the 10400 block of Wolftrap Drive.

At this time, APD is concerned for Mr. Stamm’s wellbeing.

Mr. Stamm is described as:

• White male
• Brown hair
• Brown eyes
• 5’10” tall
• 195 lbs.

Anyone with information regarding Jon Stamm’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
