On Friday, January 27, 2025, at approximately 7:03 a.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of E. Parmer Lane and Samsung Blvd. One driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the second vehicle sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

This incident is being investigated as Austin’s 3rd fatal crash of 2025, resulting in 3 fatalities. On the date of this crash in 2024, 2 fatal crashes resulted in 2 deaths.
