On February 15, 2025, at approximately 8:01 p.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a collision between a pick-up truck and a sedan in the 4100 block of N IH-35 SVRD SB. The driver of the sedan, who later was identified as Fiona J. Adams, was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver and two passengers of the pick-up truck were not injured, remained on scene, and are cooperating with the investigation.

This incident is being investigated as Austin’s 6th fatal crash of 2025, resulting in 6 fatalities. This investigation is ongoing. On the date of this crash in 2024, 9 fatal crashes resulted in 9 deaths.
