Arrested: Thomas Alejandro Gonzalez, Hispanic male, 30-years-old
On Saturday, April 16, 2022, at approximately 5:45 p.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a deceased persons call in the 1800 block of E. Stassney Lane. Upon arrival, APD personnel located a deceased male in a wooded area with trauma to his body. Investigators identified the man as Lawrence Grayson.
Homicide detectives and Crimes Scene personnel responded to process the scene.
On April 17, 2022, the Travis County Medical Examiner’s conducted an autopsy and determined the official manner of death as homicide.
On April 20, 2022, at approximately 12:50 p.m., Thomas Gonzalez was arrested by the Lonestar Fugitive Taskforce in the 6000 block of Wing Feather Dr. on a 1st Degree Murder Warrant. No bond was listed.
