The Austin Police Department (APD) arrested Frank Williams for the murder of Ehh Tee Cha on June 24, 2021. Williams was arrested on June 28, 2021 and charged with 1st degree Murder with a $100,000 dollar bond. He is currently in the custody in the Travis County Jail.

The Austin Police Department (APD) has identified the victim in Thursday’s homicide on Meadow Bend Dr. as Ehh Tee Cha.
On Thursday, June 24, 2021 at approximately 2:54 p.m. 911 received calls of several shots fired in the 7200 block of E. Meadow Bend Dr. The Caller reported that her boyfriend had been shot. APD officers arrived on scene and located a parked vehicle with a single Asian male occupant in the driver’s seat who was unresponsive. APD officers removed the driver from the vehicle and observed that he had suffered several gunshot wounds. Officers quickly began to perform life-saving measures on the victim until Austin-Travis County EMS arrived on the scene. Ehh Tee Cha, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 3:13 a.m.
Homicide investigators and crime scene technicians were called to the scene to investigate and process the scene. Through witness statements, detectives learned that the suspect involved in the shooting of Tee had exchanged gunfire with a friend of the victim who heard the shots coming from inside the victim’s car. The suspect fled the scene and was later found with multiple gunshot wounds on the porch of a residence. The suspect was transported to a local hospital where he remains in serious condition.
The Travis County Medical Examiner’s office will conduct an autopsy to determine the official cause and manner of death.
