The Austin Police Department (APD) Vehicular Homicide Unit requests the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in a traffic fatality that occurred in the 5000 block of North IH-35 NB on March 23, 2024, at approximately 5:04 a.m.

The suspect struck a pedestrian and fled the scene without stopping to render aid. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on the scene.

The suspect vehicle is described as:

• Dark in color
• SUV
