 Thi Lang Nguyen, Asian female, 73 years of age

The Austin Police Department Homicide Unit is requesting public assistance with identifying the next of kin for a deceased person that was found in the 300 zone of Lady Bird Lake on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at approximately 8:13 a.m. This is an ongoing death investigation with no foul play suspected.

The deceased person has been identified as Thi Lang Nguyen, a 73-year-old Asian female. Through the death investigation, detectives have been unsuccessful in locating the next of kin. Detectives are asking for public assistance in identifying the next of kin for Ms. Nguyen in order to pass along to the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office and the APD Victim Services Unit to help facilitate her burial.
