The Austin Police Department (APD) Highway Enforcement Command Unit requests the public's help in identifying a suspect in a hit-and-run collision. This incident occurred at approximately 11:27 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, in the 1200 block of West Parmer Lane.
The suspect, whose description and photo is included below, stole beer from the 7/11 located at 1100 West Parmer Lane. The suspect then entered his vehicle and turned westbound on Parmer Lane. The suspect struck a motorcyclist, causing the victim to crash and suffer non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect then fled westbound on West Parmer Lane, in the eastbound lanes, before turning onto Scofield Farms Drive.
The suspect is described as:
- Black male
- Short to average height
- Early 20s to early 30s
- Thin build
The suspect’s car is described as:
- Sedan
- Black or dark in color
- 4-door
