The Austin Police Department (APD) Homicide Unit requests the public's help in identifying four suspects involved in a homicide. This incident occurred at approximately 6:01 a.m. on June 8, 2024 at a Waffle House located at 12304 Dessau Road.
The four suspects, whose descriptions and photos are included below, are believed to have shot two victims, one being fatal, after arguing with the group that the two victims were with. The suspects then fled the scene.
The suspects are described as:
• Hispanic males
• Short, black hair
• Possibly between the ages of 16-20

Deceased: Tykeisha Lewis, Black female, 1/12/99
On June 8, 2024, at approximately 6:01 a.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to the call of a shooting in the parking lot at the Waffle House at 12304 Dessau Road. When officers arrived on the scene, they located a victim, later identified as Tykeisha Lewis, with an apparent gunshot wound. Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (A/TCEMS) arrived and transported Ms. Lewis to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased at 8:21 a.m. A second female was also hit by the suspect's gunfire. She was also transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Specialists responded to process the scene and interview witnesses. The investigation showed that Ms. Lewis had been shot by a group of males who had been arguing with the group that the two victims were with. The suspects then fled the scene.
