The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit is requesting public assistance with identifying a suspect involved in an Aggravated Robbery that occurred at the La Finca Supermercado located at 9616 North Lamar Boulevard on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at approximately 2:08 p.m.

The suspect, whose descriptions and photos are included below, aggressively presented a knife towards the employee and demanded cash in Spanish before running off into the wooded area behind the store.

The suspect is described as:

• Hispanic male
• Mid 20s
• 5’4”
• Approximately 130 lbs
• Thin build
• Brown, shaggy hair
• Suspected to live nearby

The suspect was last seen wearing:

• Blue, long-sleeved SMU crewneck sweatshirt
• Blue denim jeans
• Armed with knife
