The Austin Police Department Sex Crimes Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who is wanted for sexual assault.
On Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at approximately 4:45 a.m. in the 5300 block of North IH-35, an unidentified suspect, who was riding a bicycle, approached the victim’s vehicle. The suspect physically and sexually assaulted the victim. The victim was able to escape from the suspect, seek assistance and call the police. The suspect fled the scene.
The suspect is described as:
- a Hispanic male
- 5 ft. 9 in. to 6 ft. tall
