Detectives are still seeking the public's assistance with identifying a suspect who was involved in an aggravated robbery. Below is the original press release that we sent out on April 1, 2021. Location: 9001 Cameron Rd (Buddy’s Valero)
The Austin Police Department Robbery Unit is requesting the community’s assistance with identifying a suspect who was involved in a robbery. The incident occurred on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at Buddy’s Valero Convenience Store, located at 9001 Cameron Rd. The suspect described below, entered the store armed with a silver handgun. While inside the store, he displayed the weapon to the employee and demanded money.
The suspect is described as:
- Hispanic male
- Approximately 5’8’’ in height
- Thin build
- Approximately 30 years old
He was seen multiple times wearing khaki pants and brown boots. He also wore a gray backpack with black trim/zippers.
