The Austin Police Department (APD) Commercial Burglary Unit is requesting the help of the public in identifying a man accused of stealing mail from numerous apartment complexes within the City of Austin.
The suspect has been seen on numerous different dates entering apartment complex mail rooms and stealing the residents’ mail. The suspect has access to a universal mail master key to unlock the victims’ mailboxes.
The suspect is described as:
-White male
-Thin build
-Dark hair, balding
-Approximately 35-45 years of age
-Mustache
-Possible tattoo around left wrist
The suspect’s vehicle is described as:
-Toyota Tacoma TRD
-4-Door
-Gray color
-Possible stolen plates on vehicle
