Location:  900 E Braker Lane - Diablas
 
On January 19, 2025, at approximately 2:15 a.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to the Diablas parking lot, located at 900 E Braker Lane and found a Hispanic male with a single gunshot. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

During the investigation it was discovered that the victim and a Black male, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated and turned physical. During the altercation, one of the suspects produced a gun and shot the victim.

Both suspects had fled the scene by the time officers arrived.

Suspect #1 is described as:

• Hispanic male
• 5’8” – 5’10”
• Tattoo on right hand
• He was last seen wearing a black hat with white lettering in the front, black jacket, Khaki/tan pants, and black shoes

Suspect #2 is described as:

• Black male
• 5’08” – 5’10”
• Bald
• He was last seen wearing a backward black hat, black Adidas track suit, and a large silver necklace with large medallion
   

The suspect vehicle is described as:

• Chevrolet Suburban
• 2015-2020
• White
