The Austin Police Department (APD) is requesting the public’s assistance with a identifying a suspect in connection to the theft of a Rolex watch worth approximately $15,000. The theft occurred at the Lifetime Fitness located at 907 West 5th Street, on September 27, 2024, at approximately 11:40 a.m., The watch was taken out of the owner’s gym locker.
 
The suspect is described as a:

• White male
• 5’8 to 6’0 tall
• 160 to 180 lbs.
• 50-60 years of age
• Short grey beard
• Very fit
• Brown eyes
• Blue shirt and a black hat

Anyone with any information may submit a tip anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or by calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for any information that leads to an arrest.
