The Austin Police Department Robbery Unit is requesting public assistance with identifying a suspect involved in a theft from person that occurred at the Circle K store located at 1601 E Saint Elmo Road on November 26, 2024, at approximately 9:03 a.m.
 
The suspect, whose description and photo are included below, entered the store, waited until there were no other customers around, approached the cashier and asked for them to break a larger bill. Once the cashier opened the register the suspect snatched the money out of the cashier’s hand taking a large amount of money and fleeing from the store.
 
Suspect is described as:

• Black male
• 30 to 49 years of age
• Approximately 6’0” tall
• Between 180 to 200lbs.
• Goatee facial hair
• Tattoos on neck and both arms (sleeve)
• He was last seen wearing a black shirt (Levi’s Logo), black pants, black/white shoes, and a black beanie
