The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect involved in a robbery that occurred at the Chevron located at 525 West Slaughter Lane, on October 20, 2024, at approximately 2:50 p.m.
 
The suspect, whose description and photos are included in this release, stole grocery items and left the store without paying for the items. The victim attempted to take the bag of stolen items, and the suspect brandished a knife towards the victim.
 
The suspect is described as:

• Black male
• 20-30 years of age
• Short black hair

The suspect was last seen wearing:

• Green sweatshirt with a triangle emblem on the front
• Dark colored pants
• Blue jeans
• Dark brown shoes
