The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit is requesting public assistance with any information regarding an aggravated robbery that occurred on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at approximately 10:20 p.m. The incident happened at the Rutland Market located at 900 Rutland Drive. The suspect entered the store and asked to purchase cigarettes before pulling out a black handgun and demanding cash from the register.
 
Suspect described as:

• White Male
• 45-50 years of age
• About 5’ 8” – 5’10” tall
• Thin build
• Possible transient
• He was last seen wearing a black balaclava mask, black hoodie, black gloves, and black pants.
