The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery that occurred at Taqueria Piedra Grande #2 taco truck located at 1729 East Riverside Drive. The robbery happened on Tuesday, October 9, 2023, at approximately 2:08 p.m.

The suspect, whose description and photos are included below, entered the taco truck, held a knife to the employee's throat, demanded money, and threatened to kill her if she did not comply.
 
The suspect is described as:

• White male
• Approximately 19-24 years of age
• Tall
• Red hair
• Approximately 160-180 lbs.
• He was last seen wearing a tan and green baseball cap, blue plaid shirt, dark Shorts, running shoes, and dark sunglasses
