The Austin Police Department (APD) Burglary Unit is requesting the public’s help in identifying a suspect in connection to a series of burglaries. The break-ins began on Friday, June 7, 2024, at approximately 5 p.m., at a residence located in the 1600 block of Chatham Avenue.
 
The suspect, whose description and photos are included below, broke into the home holding a knife in one of the burglaries. Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect may live near the Windsor Park area.

The suspect is described as:

• Hispanic male
• 20s
• Approximately 5’6” to 5’8” tall
• Distinctive tattoos on both arms
