APD's Vehicular Homicide Unit is requesting the public's assistance in identifying a suspect vehicle in connection to fatal crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian that occurred on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at approximately 2:08 a.m. The incident happened in the 10800 block of North Lamar Boulevard. The pedestrian, later identified as Sauvan Pham, was pronounced deceased on scene.
The suspect vehicle left the scene immediately after the crash and headed north on North Lamar Boulevard.
The suspect vehicle is described as:
- Sedan
- Dark colored

On Sunday, August 4, 2024, at approximately 2:08 a.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a collision between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian in the 10800 block of North Lamar Boulevard. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene. The vehicle involved did not remain on scene.
This incident is being investigated as Austin’s 49th fatal crash of 2024, resulting in 52 fatalities for the year. On the date of this crash in 2023, 56 fatal crashes resulted in 59 fatalities.
