The Austin Police Department Highway Enforcement Investigations unit is requesting the public’s assistance with identifying the driver of a suspect vehicle involved in a Failure to Stop and Render Aid crash that happened on Monday, October 14, 2024, at approximately 11:09 p.m. The crash occurred near the intersection of North Lamar Boulevard and West Anderson Lane SVRD.
 
A pickup truck was traveling near the area when it collided with a bicyclist. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. At this time, the victim is stable. The suspect vehicle did not stop to render aid or call 9-1-1 and left the scene immediately after the crash.
 
The suspect vehicle is described as:

• Dodge pickup truck
• Black in color
• Lifted or taller than stock height
