The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit requests the public's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon and a Burglary of a Vehicle that occurred on August 20, 2023, between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The incident happened at 2204 Woodland Avenue.
The suspect, whose description and photos are included in this release, pulled out a knife and stole the victim's vehicle. After carjacking the victim, the suspect drove to the 3000 block of Barton Creek Boulevard. There, he broke into a vehicle and stole several items.
The suspect is described as:
- Hispanic
- Male
- 18-25 years of age
- 5’ 4” tall
- Short, black hair
- The suspect was last seen carrying a black backpack and wearing a dark-colored, long-sleeved shirt, blue jean pants, and light-colored tennis shoes with white soles.
