On Friday, October 27, 2023, at approximately 11:56 p.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to reports of a stabbing at 1901 E. William Cannon Drive. Officers arrived on scene and located a man with an apparent stab wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
 
The suspect left the scene immediately after the stabbing and headed into a nearby wooded area. As the investigation progressed, detectives were provided with a photo of the suspect.

The suspect is described as:

• Hispanic male
• In his 50's years of age
• Dark hair
• Facial hair on his upper lip and chin
• He was last seen wearing a blue-squared shirt.
