The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit requests the public's help identifying a suspect involved in an Aggravated Robbery that occurred at the 7-Eleven at 1624 E Howard Lane. The crime happened on Monday, October 2, 2023, at approximately 1:44 a.m.

The suspect, whose descriptions and photos are included below, aggressively entered the store and threatened the employee with a handgun before stealing an undisclosed amount of cash and several packs of Newport cigarettes.

 
The suspect is described as:

• Black male
• 20-30 years of age
• 5’ 10” to 6’0” tall
• 230 to 250 lbs.
• Armed with a black handgun
• He was last seen wearing a white floppy hat, white shirt/fabric covering lower portion of face, white long-sleeve shirt, white and gray gloves, blue and white plaid pants, and gray and red sneakers
