On Sunday, January 7, 2024, at approximately 2:59 a.m., Austin Police Department (APD) officers responded to a report of a shooting at the 8900 block of N Lamar Boulevard. Officers and EMS arrived at the scene and located a male victim with a gunshot wound. EMS transported the victim to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The Austin Police Department is asking for the publics assistance with identifying the following person of interest in the case, pictured below. The person of interest in described as a Hispanic male wearing a purple shirt and dark pants. He last seen driving a silver Chevrolet Traverse or Equinox.

The person of interest is described as:

• Hispanic male
• He was last seen wearing a purple shirt with dark pants
• He was last seen driving a silver Chevrolet Traverse or Equinox
