Austin Samba and its guest performers bring the energy, joy, colors, and rhythms of Brazil to Zilker. Come and experience the music and dance that grew from the history of love, strength, and perseverance of the community. Austin Samba will showcase percussion from different regions of Brazil along with the grace and power of its dance – with audience invited to join in!
Austin Samba is part of the Artist Access Program, through the City of Austin’s Parks and Recreation Department, Division of Museums and Cultural Programs, and the Dougherty Arts Center.
