Join our 3-hour class offered both in person and online, content is best for small business, nonprofit, and creative professionals. Whether you already have a website or need to build one, this class will provide instruction, insight and tools to make it all a lot easier. Decipher what content your website truly needs, discover user-friendly tools for creating a new site, or just learn how to add new elements to an existing site without having to start all over.
We will talk about landing pages, blogs, tracking tools, displaying events, reviews, adding galleries and portfolios, ways to make sure your site works well for mobile viewers and tips for working with a designer if you decide to outsource. No deep tech knowledge is required. Take control of your online presence, gain confidence with managing your web-based content and elevate your business or creative venture. This class is eligible for 1 credit toward the city's Skills Certificate programs. Where is the Small Business Training Room?
The Economic Development Dept. is located at 5202 E. Ben White Blvd. Suite 300, Austin, Texas. The easiest way to access the Small Business Training Room for this class is to park on the Southeast side of the building in the large parking lot. (lower right in the image below) Then enter the building through Suite 300. The classroom is right there.
