Join us for a Lakeside Environmental Inspection Brown Bag Lunch & Learn presentation from Amanda Wyrick, DSD Environmental Compliance Supervisor. Learn about the unique regulations for construction on, under, or next to the water in Lake Austin, Lady Bird Lake and Lake Walter E. Long. The presentation will cover specifics for:
- Boat docks
- Stationary platforms
- Piers
- Shoreline access
- Erosion controls, tree protection requirements, and the compliance process.
This will be an interactive presentation with plenty of time for questions. Since the event is during the lunch hour, outside food and drinks are welcome and light snacks will be provided. The presentation will focus mainly on information that affects permit holders, but all interested Austin residents and anyone with a project that is subject to a lakeside environmental inspection are welcome to join.
