Join the Grow Green team at Zilker Botanical Garden to maintain the Green Garden! Learn from experienced gardeners about native landscaping maintenance and native/adapted plants for the Austin area. This volunteer opportunity has a diverse range of tasks and could involve: removing soil from a garden bed to prep the bed for replanting, planting, removing brush, mulching, weeding, pruning, and maintenance of signage. Please arrive prepared to work outdoors, wearing closed-toed shoes with a full water bottle,and a sun hat is recommended. We will provide gloves, but if you bring your own that's wonderful!
