✨ Sábados en Familia provides bilingual storytime and hands-on activities at Austin Central Library every month on the second Saturday.
This is free and open to the public, no registration necessary. Families can bring children of all ages.
This month we will be reading Bright Star ( or Lucero in Spanish) by Yuyi Morales. This book explores the plants, animals, and people that live and travel in the deserts of the borderlands. Participants will be invited to create a clay cactus plant and decorate a paper cup to plant it in. Come create and learn with us!
⏰ Schedule: Live book reading at 10:00am followed by hands-on art making activity that continues until 12:00pm.
