Examine history through the art of painting! Through this session, participants will learn how to use acrylic and watercolor mediums to recreate a narrative from their own life. In addition to developing technical skills, this is a great way to expand your understanding of visual storytelling and the use of symbolism in art. Our education staff will lead the demonstrations and all of the materials will be provided. This program is free and open to all ages!

Saturday Studio Sessions Painting History June 29th

Saturday Studio Sessions
Join us this summer for our Saturday Studio Sessions every other Saturday from 10 am to noon. During these workshops, participants will flex their creative thinking skills by exploring innovative ways of making art. This is a great opportunity for kids and families to examine specific themes through different artistic processes. Participants will also get to work on their projects in the same studio environment that sparked Elisabet Ney’s passion for art!
